Midland Technical Translations 1983 – 2008

Translators and Interpreters are gathering from around the UK this month to help to celebrate a remarkable event. Midland Technical Translations have been in the translation business for 25 years and are celebrating by hosting a translator day to mark the event. The offices in Coventry Street, Kidderminster will be opened up to welcome colleagues from afar afield as Poland and Czech Republic.

MTT will be displaying information on interviews with various translators, a history of the company and a quiz. MD, Mrs Sue Clark will also give a short presentation thanking the linguists for their continued support over the last 25 years. Some of the translators, who have been with the company since the beginning will also be highlighted and received special awards.

Midland Technical Translations (UK) Ltd have been providing technical translations in any language since 1983, with the MD, Sue Clark, also a translator herself celebrating her 18th Year with the company this year.

Sue commented ‘It has been a fantastic experience to watch this company grow from marketing the services of just one translator, to working with a pool of over 500 around the world. Translations were originally prepared on a typewriter and posted out, but now we can email a translated Word document or webpage in a matter of minutes. The team are delighted to be celebrating this anniversary with our key suppliers and we look forward to working with them over the next 25 years.”

From small beginnings with a staff of just 2, MTT has grown to its current complement of 7 skilled staff. We handle translation projects for companies based around the world in a wide variety of languages and are looking forward to the next 25 years.
