It’s been a long time since I did any interpreting work – I prefer to craft a translation and research terminology in my own time rather than sit with a ring of expectant faces around me while I try to remember what someone has just said.
There is no doubt in my mind that I’m not a good interpreter, so I’m grateful that we know so many people who are!
