Midland Technical Translations (UK) Ltd has beaten strong opposition from across the Midlands to be crowned “Midlands Service Provider of the Year 2009” at a prestigious awards evening held in Birmingham in February 2009.

Lord Digby Jones of Birmingham was in attendance along with 300 guests at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel, NEC for a gala style awards evening.

Managing Director Mrs Sue Clark collected the award on behalf of the MTT team from Frank Stapleton, General Manager of the NEC Hilton Metropole Hotel, who sponsored this category.

Speaking about the event afterwards she commented: “Winning this award gives public recognition to every member of our team. We take pride in making sure we keep our promises to our clients and making the translation process as easy and reliable as possible. We are all delighted to receive this award.”

The judges praised MTT for many service oriented initiatives including bringing customers and translators together to learn about equipment before translations of manuals were made and also their long term commitment to measuring and retaining customer satisfaction.

We were very proud to win the BGR Champion of the Year for 2005 award for the fourth year running. Winning the prize for the fourth year running gave official recognition to our team's desire to improve the business on a continual basis, to provide exemplary customer service in a highly competitive industry.

In July 2005, we were delighted to be named as one of the top 25 companies to work for in the Midlands and received a cut glass trophy in recognition of our achievement. This award recognised our commitment to improving both the skills of the people who work at MTT and their working environment in order to give the best possible service to our customers.

In February 2005, we were delighted to receive IIP accreditation, with no recommendations for improvement from the assessor. Congratulations to the whole team who all worked hard to make the grade!
