Our PMs have a high level of technical knowledge and skills to ensure your project runs as smoothly as possible. It’s their job to analyse each document, looking not just at word count but also language complexity, field, and formatting.
They can assist with finding the best language combinations for your marketing aims if you’re not sure exactly what you need and will organise sample professional translations if you wish to test the waters before a major project.
If needed they will communicate directly with our Desktop Publishing Team to ensure your documents are supplied back in the exact format needed. They are also responsible for ensuring your quote is accurate and fair and that if anything changes during the project, you are advised of any changes to the costs.
Perhaps their most important role however is in selecting the right translation team for your project, taking into account each professional linguist’s qualifications, experience, workload, software, geographic location and personal preferences. Every linguist has their specialist subjects and we love to give them work in fields they really enjoy and excel at.
If your project involves a high volume of words or multiple documents, this can be a significant undertaking, requiring a great deal of planning and the sourcing of a large team of linguists to ensure we offer a reasonable turnaround time. Your PM ensures that each member of the team knows their responsibilities and that everything fits together at the end to supply a quality translation, on time, in the format you need. If documents change or are added to a project the PM will provide an update to your quote and deadline, ensuring everyone involved knows about the changes. It’s their job to make everything easy for you and to ensure everyone on our side delivers what you need on time.
