Here are our top tips on how to get a fast translation when your deadline is tight.
- First of all pick up the phone and call 0844 856 1086 to let us know you have an urgent project.
- Send over a copy of your document, ideally in an editable format, to [email protected]. Mark it “URGENT!” If you have a Word document and a pdf of the same document, send the Word version so we don’t waste time trying to convert it. If there’s a password on your document let us know now.
- Let us know what language you need the document translated into and when you need it by. A time would be helpful as well as a date. If it’s for a meeting at a set time or you need to make a flight, let us know.
- We’ll get back to you as soon as we possibly can – we can probably give you a very rough idea on the telephone and should be able to quote within an hour or so.
MTT’s standard level of service is to respond to every enquiry within 2 hours, however we endeavour to give priority to urgent messages. We can generally offer a confirmed price and delivery fairly quickly, giving you the certainty you need for urgent projects.
Occasionally we may need to research specialist translation suppliers or confirm special arrangements for complex projects, but we will still give as much information as possible as soon as possible - and we’ll keep you up to date with progress.
If your quote is higher than you’d like, we’ll work with you to determine what we can do within your budget. For instance, we could help determine which sections of a large document for translation are the most relevant or urgent by looking at the table of contents for you.
