Happy St George's Day

As well as being the patron saint of England, St George would make an excellent saint for languages and translation. The patron saint of Georgia, Ethiopia, Venice and Genoa, he was born in modern day Turkey, died in modern day Israel and probably spoke Greek and Latin.

A language that St George definitely did not speak was English!

Nevertheless, St George’s Day is a good moment to talk about the English language and MTT’s translating and interpreting services both in and out of English. Unlike St George, all our professional linguists work with English either as a mother tongue or as one of their main source languages meaning you can trust us to provide a professional and reliable English translation service.
