Be flexible
Did you know that some translated texts can be much as 35% longer than the original? Be prepared that the layout and page count of your translated manual could vary significantly!
Track down the original
The translator will need an editable version of your technical manual. If you only have a PDF, it will need to be converted into an editable format. It will save time (and money!) if you can track down the original document from the outset.
